    Award Amount: TWO – $500 each (1 High School Senior and 1 College/Technical Student)

    6/14/2021-Deadline for submission of application

    REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

    Must be a graduating high school senior and accepted in a post-secondary program.

    Must have acquired at least a 2.5 GPA.

    Must provide most recent transcript, which includes mid-year grades.

    Eligible applicants must be African American or of African descent.

    Must have at least one year of volunteer work and/or community service.

    REQUIREMENTS FOR COLLEGE/TECHNICAL STUDENTS

    Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary or technical program.

    Must have acquired at least a 2.5 GPA.

    Must provide most recent transcript including mid-year grades.

    Eligible applicants must be African American or of African descent.

    Must have one or more years of civic engagement, civic participation and/or community involvement.

    FOR ALL APPLICANTS:

    Applicants must complete the 300-word essay. The essay should tell a story about you as well as how the scholarship will assist you in your future endeavors to influence your community.

    Must submit 2 signed letters of recommendation (preferably teacher or counselor). No letter from family members will be accepted.

    The scholarship winners will be contacted by phone and by email and publicized on the 20/20 Sisters of Vision website.
